With the anticipated release of the Apple iPhone drawing near, there has been some discussion and speculation regarding possible plans by Microsoft to join the cellular market with a phone of their own. According to the associated press, however, it seems that Microsoft has no such plans - at least not for now. "I don't actually think it will make sense for us to make a cell phone," said Chief Executive Steve Ballmer at The Wall Street Journal's "D: All Things Digital" conference on Wednesday. Ballmer went on to say that Microsoft "is very committed" to it's Zune MP3 player, and will be busy expanding the Zune line through this year.
