At the the Pearl of the Orient in Hong Kong this week, Motorola unveiled the limited edition champagne gold KRZR K1. Designed primarily as a fashion statement and promotional tool, the gold KRZR K1 will only be available in limited quantities to Hong Kong residents. The phone is not only stylish, but light to the touch, at only 100 grams and 42mm x 103 mm x 16mm. Like the standard KRZR K1, the limited edition will come with a 2-megapixel camera with 8x zoom, MPEG-4 video capture and playback, 1.9-inch display, bluetooth, and MP3 player.

As the official successor to the enormously successful KRZR phone from Motorola, the second-generation KRZR K1 has large shoes to fill. The phone, like the original, is ultra skinny with an attractively sleek profile. The flip-phone offers a 1.9-inch color display on the inside and smaller display on the exterior. The phone contains a 2.0-megapixel camera with 8x zoom, internal antenna, mini USB port, bluetooth, messaging + browser and other internet tools, and more.

Motorola today announced the release of the RAZR V3i in very fashionable glossy purple, just in time for Mother's Day. The new RAZR V3i is not only attractive on the outside, it has all the important internal features, including 1.23-megapixel digital camera, MP3 player with iTunes, and video capture with zoom. Today Sprint Nextel released the Motorola ic402, a dual-mode iDEN/CDMA handset, onto its Nextel network. The ic402 is the second such dual-mode handset to be released; the ic502 was launched in November. The dual-mode handset has iDEN and CDMA connectivity, Push-to-Talk feature using Nextel Direct Connect, and 128×160 pixel display with 65,000 colors. The device utilizes both Nextel and Sprint infrastructure, with the Sprint PCS network handling voice transmissions, and the Nextel iDEN network supporting walkie-talkie services. The Motorola ic402 retails for about $40 after a $40 rebate and 2-year contract. Similarly, the ic502 currently sells for $60.
